Danielle founded Communal Health after years spent navigating care and resources for her father and witnessing firsthand how difficult it can be for families to access the support they need. As a longtime volunteer with food access and community-based organizations, she saw both the impact of these services and the operational challenges they face. She created Communal to help organizations that support vulnerable populations strengthen their programs, sustain funding, and deliver care more effectively. Her work is driven by a belief that the organizations closest to communities deserve better tools to thrive.

As a practicing physician, Derek has seen firsthand how community-based organizations are essential to improving health outcomes. He also understands the challenges these organizations face as healthcare increasingly depends on them to deliver health-related social needs services. As Chief Medical Officer, he helps ensure Communal gives organizations the insight they need to measure impact, sustain programs, and succeed as healthcare partners.

Alok has spent more than two decades building and scaling technology platforms that connect complex systems and transform fragmented data into actionable insights. As Chief Technology Officer, he leads Communal's platform architecture, ensuring organizations can access the information they need to understand performance, demonstrate impact, and make informed decisions.
